The year was 1606 and that was the beginning of The First Real Estate Company in North America. It was called The London Company. Within 25 years the original Company was gone but the name lived on.

In 1971 The House of London was incorporated in Fresno, California. During the next 15 years the London Company worked exclusively in Commercial Industrial Real Estate. In 1984, we opened our Residential Division, London Properties Ltd.

Despite our diversification, or perhaps because of it, now London Properties has become one of the largest Real Estate companies in America with over 400 Sales Associates and support staff located within 11 offices throughout California. Almost by accident Bryce & Joyce found Lake Almanor after being pushed out of Mendocino’s Little River Airport by fog in Sept ‘99. Such was their delight with the area & lake they purchased a lot on Goose Bay in Almanor West that first visit and started making plans to fulfill a dream of relocating to “a room with a view” overlooking Mt. Lassen and the Lake. Construction of their home began in 2000 and was completed in 2003 with the celebration of their daughter’s wedding on the front lawn. In June 2006; their dream became a reality.
