Joyce came to real estate from owning her own company where she promoted airline charters, cruises ships and marketed the travel industry. Bryce owned and operated one of the most successful retail petroleum and convenience store construction businesses in the San Joaquin Valley, building for major and independent oil companies from Orange County to the Oregon border.

Almost by accident Bryce & Joyce found Lake Almanor after being pushed out of Mendocino’s Little River Airport by fog in Sept ‘99. Such was their delight with the area & lake they purchased a lot on Goose Bay in Almanor West that first visit and started making plans to fulfill a dream of relocating to “a room with a view” overlooking Mt. Lassen and the Lake. Construction of their home began in 2000 and was completed in 2003 with the celebration of their daughter’s wedding on the front lawn. In June 2006; their dream became a reality.
